Wallace and Gromit

Wallace and Gromit! The story is set in the North of England in Preston.
David Beckham played for Preston North End Football Club once.
It is not far from my home town. About 80 minutes by car.

LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB

We went to Yokohama to watch Liverpool in the World club championships in December. We were with the Liverpool supporters behind the goal but the pitch
is too far away!!

Yoshiki's Great Grandmother's house In Keswick , England.

Yoshiki's father's house is just around the corner.
On the right is the factory where the first pencils in the world were made.

Nakai Baseball Ground

A very difficult place to get to.
Used for Kanagawa Club baseball games sometimes.
20 minutes from Kayama, Odawara.
10 minutes from Tokaidaigaku Baseball ground.
A hard place to get to.
Well done Soutarou!
If I had known we could have given you a lift there!
Yoshiki is the batter in this 'boke' picture taken with my mobile telephone.

Yoshiki's sister, Emma.

A big fan of Indigo Socks and sudachi drink. Emma works for Sony and played basketball
at elementary school, junior high school and Yamakita high school where she also won the school marathon.
Again, the opening games will not be home games for Indigo Socks.
Two of the teams have a chance to train with Seibu Lions. Last year
other teams trained with NPB teams. The television progams about the
Shikoku Island League were mostly about the other teams in the league.
Isn't it about time the Tokushima team was in the spotlight for a change?
Ehime and Kagawa have better grounds and facilities I suppose that is why.
But the kind supporters of Tokushima Indigo Socks put their hands in their pockets (and handbags) and bought a much needed pitching machine.
Great!

This was the picture which appeared in today's Yomiuri Newspaper in the Kansai area. Sliding into first base or third?
Today in the Yomiuri On Line web page there was an article about
some of the Indigo Socks players. In the part about Yoshiki it mentioned that his father is a Giants fan. I'd just like to say that I am an Indigo Socks fan only. (of course an Island League fan too)
I find Giants style of baseball boring and hope the Island League team humiliate them.

Some more pictures of the Lake District in England.
Why not go there some day?
