There are so many types of beer and ales in Britain so it's a difficult question.
I am from the North. Youngers and Scottish And Newcastle Breweries are popular where I live.
Personally I like 'Youngers Tartan Bitter' from Scotland. In Japan it is hard to find British beers,but some shops sell Bass Pale Ale which I like very much too. There is a pub chain named Hub which sells draught Bass Pale Ale. It is quite expensive.
English food? It can be very bad or very good.But is too fattening!
