Recently the High School Baseball Commission have put penalties on
over 360 high schools for giving free scholarships.
Why now? Are they stupid? Even I know they have been doing it for years.
Is the commisioner so naive It is so hard to believe. 3700 school boys pay the price
this year. Lucky for Matsuzaka and Matsui they didn't do it before.
The whole high school system seems ridiculous to me.
Why are there private high schools anyway? There should be enough state education
for everyone who wants it.
Fact: 3000 junior high school students take the entrance exam for Soyo HS.
There are only 600 places. Nearly all of them do it as a safety factor just in case they fail the exam for a private school. With the high cost of the test, how much money does a school like Soyo make from it? Answer : Too much!!!
How many people do you know who got a free or discount scholarship to high school?
