This pub appears in the Beatrix Potter book, Jemima Puddleduck. After walking for 2 hours ,I dropped in for a beer. It was so quiet and so relaxing.
The pint of beer I had was fantastic. I then walked another hour and dropped in the Queens Head in Hawkshead for another beer. Lovely.
